Your accountant needs time to work and generally, the earlier you are in the queue, the faster you have your file back! Lower the stress level for you and your accountant by bringing in your work earlier rather than later.

  •    Have your records neat, tidy and complete.

Nothing will increase your fees like bringing a black garbage bag full of little balls of receipts.

Your system does not have to be complicated and can range from expand-a-files to computerized accounting software programs. Your accountant can help you design a system that will work for you.

Double check so you don’t miss any receipts or income receipts! Summarize and reconcile as much as you can.

Please get back to your accountant’s questions as quickly as you can. That way, you stay on top of their work pile

  •   Don’t go for the cheapest accountant or bookkeeper
